About Raja Ampat Marina — Juara Holding Group

Raja Ampat Marina is a specialist maritime brand under Juara Holding Group, focused on one thing: marina-grade yacht support coordination in Raja Ampat — moorings and anchorages, vessel-side agency and clearance, provisioning, water and waste, tenders, turnaround and crew movement, run from the Sorong–Waisai axis. We are not a physical marina and do not claim to be one. Vessel-side support and management contracts on this desk are issued by PT Komodo Vessel Management. The desk answers on WhatsApp +62 811 3823 875 and sales@komodoluxury.com.

Who we are

This desk exists because Raja Ampat has world-class waters and near-zero marina infrastructure, and every visiting yacht ends up solving the same set of problems — where to lie safely, how to clear in, where fuel and food and water actually come from, how to move people two hours across the Dampier Strait on a schedule. The organisations that solve those problems well here are coordinators with current local knowledge, not berth owners. Raja Ampat Marina is built as exactly that: an editorial and operations desk that publishes the ground truth openly and sells the coordination that puts it to work. The publishing side is this site — the complete yacht support guide and the service pages under it. The operations side is the WhatsApp thread where routes get checked, windows get booked and quotes get written.

What we do — and honestly, what we do not

We coordinate: mooring and anchorage plans verified against current operator contact, jetty windows and third-party berths, four-office clearance at Sorong, provisioning and bunkering from the real supply hubs, water and waste runs, standby tenders, liveaboard turnaround days, and crew changes through DEO airport. We do not own dock infrastructure, seabed moorings or the marina at Waisai, and we do not pretend the archipelago offers services it does not — no alongside superyacht berths, no shore power in the islands, no fuel dock at Misool. Where a third party owns the facility, we say so by name — Meridian Adventure Marina at Waisai being the honest example — and act as your coordinating agent. This honesty policy is not marketing garnish; it is the product. A support plan is only worth money if every line of it exists.

Contract structure, stated plainly

Juara Holding Group runs its maritime ecosystem on a three-entity split, and this desk sits cleanly inside it: vessel-side support and management contracts — everything this site quotes — are issued by PT Komodo Vessel Management. Construction, repair, refit and vessel-sale work is contracted separately by PT Komodo Galangan Nusantara, and brokerage, central agency and charter marketing by PT Komodo Bahari Nusantara. Separate contracts, separate fees, separate ledgers; one integrated ecosystem. For a captain this means the invoice you sign here never quietly bundles a shipyard’s or a broker’s interests — each discipline bills under its own name.

The wider ecosystem

The group’s maritime operations span the Indonesian archipelago — charter, vessel management, shipyard services and destination operations — with the charter flagship documenting its service stack at the group’s full maritime services desk in Komodo and beyond. For Raja Ampat specifically, that ecosystem is why this desk can verify a mooring, book a supply boat or stage a crew rotation quickly: the vessels, boatmen and agents involved are relationships the group works year-round, not directory listings. Where a neighbouring question is better answered by a sibling authority — park entry fees being the standing example — we link out rather than duplicate.

How we write

Everything published here follows three rules. Facts carry their provenance: regulatory statements trace to official sources and the cruising community’s documented experience, and figures like the park’s IDR tariffs are cited to the issuing authority. The byline is the desk, not a persona: no invented captains, no stock-photo staff. And when the ground truth changes — a fee revision, a buoy gone, a schedule moved — the page changes, because a stale support page is worse than none. Questions the site answers in one line each are collected in the FAQ hub.

Where we operate

The working axis is Sorong (port of entry, logistics, DEO airport) and Waisai (in-park base, jetties, park administration), extending through the Dampier Strait anchorages, Piaynemo and Wayag in the north, and Misool in the south. Quotes are written in USD; official fees pass through in IDR at cost. To put the desk to work, start at the contact page — vessel, dates, and what you need are the whole first message.

Frequently asked questions

Is Raja Ampat Marina a physical marina facility?

No — and we state that everywhere it matters. Raja Ampat Marina is a coordination and agency desk for yacht support in an archipelago that has one small physical marina (Meridian Adventure Marina, Waisai, third-party) and otherwise runs on anchorages, buoys and jetty windows. Our name describes the standard of service, not a claim to concrete and pontoons.

Which company issues service contracts?

PT Komodo Vessel Management issues all vessel-side support and management contracts quoted on this site. Shipyard work and vessel sales contract separately under PT Komodo Galangan Nusantara, and brokerage or charter marketing under PT Komodo Bahari Nusantara — the group’s standing three-entity split.

What group is Raja Ampat Marina part of?

Juara Holding Group, the Indonesian group operating an integrated maritime ecosystem — charter, vessel management, shipyard and destination services — across the archipelago since 2015.

Where are your operations based?

On the Sorong–Waisai axis: Sorong for clearance, logistics and the airport; Waisai inside the park for jetties, administration and staging; with coordination reach through the Dampier Strait to Wayag in the north and Misool in the south.

The desk publishes its working notes on seamanship and logistics in these waters in the journal.

Plan the call before the passage

Send the vessel LOA, draft, beam, arrival window and the islands you intend to work, and the desk will come back with berthing, mooring and shoreside options that actually exist for that hull in that season. Quotations are issued in USD.
